“This class is very relaxing and Gabrielle’s voice is from heaven.”

“I love this class. It is a great stretch and it feels great. I actually rescheduled standing appointments so I can take the whole session!”

“Unlike other yoga classes I have tried, this is perfect for my speed. This is exactly what I need.”

“Wonderful class. I have tears in my achilles tendon and have spent months healing my leg and not able to do any exercise. This was wonderful not only for healing that injury but also for stretching my back and hips. I know I can’t come to a regular yoga class so it is so relieving to know there is a class I can come to like this. It was just the right amount challenging but never too challenging.”

Creative hatha and vinyasa approaches make this practice available and beneficial for both beginners and more experienced students.

Gentle Yoga for Tranquility with Heather Thamer RYT500

Tuesday 10:30–11:30
*this class is currently full*

In this gentle yoga class, the emphasis is on promoting healing, while moving slowly through poses, stretches and restorative sequences. During these yoga classes, participants are led through breathing techniques, yoga postures and meditation methods to promote healing, and restore a sense of well-being.

Most of the class is done seated in a chair with an emphasis on gentle joint exercises, slow stretches to help keep muscles limber and strong, and breathing techniques to instill calm and inner balance. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace and all poses can be modified to individual needs. Students explore a few standing poses as an option but the emphasis is on supporting each individual where they are that class.
